I want to establish a company in Creative City. Can I run the business in other emirates?
Yes, you can operate your business anywhere. For office rentals outside Creative City, submit a request for a no-objection certificate through our customer service team.
What are the steps for registering/issuing a license?
- Submit the application and pay the fees
- Creative City reviews the application and applies for initial approval
- Sign the incorporation contracts and complete the beneficial ownership data (UBO)
- Issue the trade license and related documents
What company documents will I obtain after incorporation?

Is it necessary to come to the Free Zone headquarters to receive the company’s documents after the license is issued?
No, all company documents are fully digital and will be sent to your email once you electronically sign the Articles of Incorporation.
Can I open a bank account for a company with a Creative City license? Do we need a bank account immediately?
You can easily open a company bank account with a Creative City license. We’re here to help you navigate the bank’s requirements and ensure a smooth setup.
Can you inform me about corporate taxes, and whether there is a minimum capital?
Taxes are applied to partners based on the company's net income or profits. All companies, including those registered in UAE free zones, must register on the Emirates Tax platform via the Federal Tax Authority website.
Can I establish a company in the Creative City Free Zone if I am not a resident of the Emirates? What are the procedures if I do not have a unified UID number and I am outside the Emirates?
You can establish a company without being physically present, as all licensing procedures can be completed remotely. To obtain a unified identification number (UID), simply provide documents from a previous visit, such as an entry stamp or tourist visa. If you haven’t visited the Emirates before, Creative City is here to assist you in applying for a tourist or visit visa, enabling you to obtain a UID and complete the licensing process seamlessly.
